- Tagnet: (Tagger And Graffiti
Network Enforcement Team)
Tagnet
was formed in order for the Law Enforcement Agencies to meet and share
information on graffiti issues, such as, identified vandals, what are the
currant trends and who is working on graffiti issues in a particular area.
Tagnet was later absorbed into The Nograf Network (See Below)
NoGraf is a
place for abatement volunteers, police, graffiti consultants, vendors of
anti-graffiti products, and community groups to share information,
network, and build friendships. The NoGraf network is evidence that a
common man, with uncommon zeal, can make a difference. Using the internet
is central to the group members having dialogue with anti-graffiti
advocates worldwide. As a result, Nograf became an anti-graffiti linchpin
for anti-graffiti advocates and experts to dialogue on their shared
purpose. Members are part of an e-mail list server in order to receive
graffiti related information from all members.
Joining the Nograf Network:
Joining is easy and free! Log onto the Nograf
Web site and send them an e-mail requesting membership, just include your
name, title, e-mail address. Membership is free and open to all who are in
graffiti abatement. If you are not involved in graffiti abatement, do not
apply, there is a short background check to confirm your membership.
