VPT has been manufacturing chemicals to solve clean up problems on construction sites since 1988. As you browse through our web site you will find several unique products. This is a result of bringing together the chemical manufacturing experience of Dr. Thomas Smoot, and Bruce Feit . Tom started the lab in 1970. Since 1983 Bruce has been creating, and marketing products to resolve construction problems.

At VPT we listen to our customers and manufacture products that they need.  In 1984 Bruce developed the first chemical cleaning line of products for the EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System) Industry. Problems that could not be resolved in the past were now easily resolved.

In 1992 VPT became involved in the manufacturing of anti-graffiti coatings and removers. The products were originally made under "private label" for companies such as Dayton Superior and Symons Corporation, as well as VPT's own label. Today VPT markets these products directly, and through distributors. In addition to manufacturing anti-graffiti products we became involved in the battle against the blight.

Bruce Feit (President of VPT) was one of the founding members of Graffiti Abatement Institute of North America (GAIN). He has been serving for over two years as the GAIN President, devoting at times 30 percent of his time to this not for profit organization. In May 1997 he coordinated the GAIN in 97 conference in Phoenix. In June of 1998 he organized the GAIN conference in San Jose with Zulma Maciel of the City of San Jose.

In addition Bruce was on a Federal Highway funded panel to set national highway standards for the testing of anti-graffiti products.
